Placed in the of the heart of the south, The Gables lies on 13 acres of rolling pasture land in Laurel, MS. From the 7-foot chandeliers to the old cotton gin wood accents throughout the building, The Gables venue is designed to accommodate events from weddings, corporate functions, political events, civic clubs, reunions, birthday parties, seminars, outdoor events and intimate parties. It is a multi-level venue with a courtyard, yet remains handicapped accessible via the lighted paved parking area's handicapped parking spaces, handicapped accessible restrooms, and a covered portico for convenient drop off at the front entrance. The covered portico also functions as a receiving area for guests and as a picturesque place for the bride and groom to leave. The Gables boasts a grand doorway with gas lanterns opening into the foyer, which is a spacious, breathtaking two-story room with 24' ceilings, built-in audio system, and includes an overlook with an elegant double-spiral wrought-iron railed staircase. The Gables is the perfect venue for your event.

The Gables staff can also assist you with event planning, catering, floral/decorating, calligraphy and sign lettering. These services are priced based on client needs. We are exclusive on catering; however, you may bring in celebratory desserts i.e. wedding cakes, decorated birthday cakes. We welcome all other outside vendors.
